Environmental performance of the company
Operations of the company which pose the biggest threat to the environment:
- operation of a waste dump site for hazardous and other industrial wastes
- operation of decontamination centres for hazardous wastes
- operation of recycling yards for demolition wastes
- operation of middle-level and small sources of air pollution
- operation of stores of chemical substances and preparations
- operation of a diesel oil pumping station
In all our activities, we strive to:
- observe legal regulations and limit impacts on the environment
- save resources by limiting the consumption of energy, water, raw materials and operational materials
- to train and inform our employees in regard to how they can contribute to environmental protection
Activities aimed at reducing impacts on the environment:
- The company management approved an environmental programme aimed at further increasing the proportion of utilisable components in sorted wastes.
- Reconstruction of the gas boiler room operation at the plant TR Petřvald. A reduction of natural gas consumption achieved a heating season saving of almost 58,000 m3. At the same time, the amount of emitted pollutants dropped by more than 50%.
- The current status of the company's fulfillment of legal requirements in the field of environmental protection is being evaluated through internal audits.
